There was a little Princess who did lots and lots of things. She ran ad skipped, hiked and rode and eventually she met a Prince who said he loved her and wanted to make her his. She loved her Prince very much and looked forward to living happily ever after. Sadly however she got very sick and nobody knew what was wrong with her. She hurt all of the time and only wanted to sleep. Her Prince was very sad, soon it would be Valentines day and what would he give his sick little Princess that could make her smile?
He thought and thought and finally he had an idea!
He would dig for her a garden so that she would plant some seeds and then she would be able to get up every day and go and see what was growing in her garden.
This he did, and it worked. Instead of lying in bed and thinking about the pain the little princess would get up every day to see what was new in her garden. She planted some veggies and some flowers (to attract butterflies and hummingbirds) and her garden was full of life in no time. She couldn't do it by herself so her Prince would help her lots.
Thus they became royal gardeners and lived happily ever after.
Cat girl .. I loved this story and I hope to see some pictures to go with it soon ?
ReplyDeleteWhen I read about another person with the same illnesses it is sad, yet it helps .. knowing there are others out there like me.. things have become more complicated for me with having to go on steroids now .. it is scary and now knowing I have to go to the hospital if I can't get my meds in me ( flu or stomach bug) so they can pump me full of them by IV .. it is rather depressing to know I'm permanently tied to emergency care .. I should be grateful for the health care we get but it still scares me.
Sorry Cat .. I got caught up in myself here .. I just wanted to say this will be a wonderful blog with your circle garden adventures : )

Honey, that's would scare me too!
ReplyDeleteI am very fortunate that my medical friends all encouraged me to move south for my health when this all began, but even here it is hard for some with fibro, one of the girls in a local fibro group just had a stroke at the age of 36. I've been really luck so far.
